A great big “Happy Mothers’ Day” goes to all you ladies who are moms, especially you who were single mothers.
Most of you have or had literal, physical children.
Many of you, like myself, did not have children physically. However, you have cared for others, you have helped raised siblings and cousins and nieces and nephews, you have led people to the Lord or led Bible studies, you have taken in others’ children, you are a professional caregiver, you have mentored and ministered and prayed over and shown protective love over someone. That qualifies you and I to be moms!
So, again I say it: Happy Mothers’ Day to you, my dears. I hope you feel celebrated, not only this weekend, but all year long.
May the Lord bring you joy and allow you to see and enjoy the fruit of all your caring and loving and praying.
