You have many influences in your life, My single child.
You allow information to bombard you from social media, television and radio, friends, family, coworkers, and pastors. Through your eyes, I see the billboards, bumper stickers, junk mail, election information, T-shirts, and You Tube videos which you see. I even know each word of every conversation you have had with neighbors, teachers, other church members, your Sunday School, the cashier at your favorite grocery store, and the people you stand in line with at the airport.
You spend most of your day watching, reading, listening to, and talking with those influences as you ask for advice and form opinions. Yet you neglect the one influence that will steer you clear of trouble: Me.
It has been a long time, My child, since you have consulted Me about a question or a concern. I am saddened when I see you accept what others say without discussing it with Me because I know those other influences.
I know exactly what is true and not true, what they are revealing and what they are concealing, as they share only what they want you to hear. Asking Me My perspective on everything that comes at you will help keep you from drama, gossiping, many misunderstandings, and making poor choices.
Some of those who influence you have good intentions and are accurate in what they disclose. They know you and have your best interests at heart. Many of them know Me personally, like you do, and would not seek to mislead you and draw you away from Me and My words. They bless you like they bless Me.
Others, My child, curse you. Many have installed wicked words into your heart and your destiny, words designed to kill, steal, and destroy. They deliberately and actively seek to sidetrack you from Me through manipulation and deceit. My enemies rebel against Me and express their hatred for Me through you, if they can get you to join them. The enemy appealed in this manner to your original ancestors, Adam and Eve, and has seen no need to change his tactics.
They look sincere and genuine, but their hearts are full of darkness, corruption, and sinister ulterior motives.
They sound authoritative, but they abused the authority and influence allotted them for their own selfish means.
Such evil influencers appeal to the same sinful, but universal, elements within you that appeal to them in hopes of luring you to their side. They want you to see things their way and join them. They want you to talk like they talk and live like they live in a vain attempt to justify their sinful lifestyles and this world system.
They want everything you have and are, so they can remake you into their own image. I can see their intentions clearly.

Their voracious appetite for evil is from the pits of hell.

From such, turn away. The harm they will do you is unfathomable. When you receive 
their false words and allow them to influence you, you will incur My discipline. Yes, it is true that I am a God of grace and mercy, but I still hate sin and must discipline it from My children. You cannot cling to rebellion and sin and still reflect Me accurately, My child. Many of your enemies understand this, like Balaam did, and seek to cause you harm.
Several of them used to walk in My ways. When disappointment turned to bitterness, they stopped trusting Me. They shook their fists in My face and walked away.
Others became addicted to power and fleshly desires. They allowed strongholds of depravity to encase their souls and wedge themselves far from Me. They chose their new god, power, over living with Me in eternity. From such, turn away.
I continue to work on bringing them back into the fellowship of the fold. I already know, sadly, who will refuse until their final moment when it is their scheduled turn to step into eternity.
My dear little one, I love you fiercely with an everlasting love. They do not. Indeed, they can not.
Those who are driven by the lusts of the flesh cannot love anyone besides themselves. The more you continue to let these destructive forces speak into your life, the longer and greater the damage. I do not want the sordid values that define their identity and 
existence to become a snare to your soul.
You must learn to distinguish between My voice and their voices; My influence and love, and their desire for your approval. At times, it may feel like they are similar, but they are vastly different.
When you cannot tell them apart, look at what that influences asks or entices you to do. Their fruit in your life will inform you whether I sent them or not. If they ask you to do something that goes against My character and My Word, I did not send them.
Only My Spirit produces godly and righteous fruit that lasts. The world, the flesh, and the devil produce the appearance of religion, shows of worldly power, and promises of deity, all of which are destined for eternal condemnation. Why would you want to indulge in, or even entertain, that which is temporal and already condemned by Me?
My child, do not receive their words; instead, listen to Me. Allow My Spirit to lead and mature you so that your discernment is sharpened. Know My Word and follow My heart, not yours. Then you will quickly know that I did not send that influence and you can turn away from the darkness that wants to consume you. Be careful.
